L5 Test Track Testing

AVO had the opportunity to test their pedestrian collision avoidance technology on the L5 Test Track located just outside of Ottawa, ON. The team ran live demos even with snow drifts covering the track.

AVO won the Safer Neighbourhood Hackathon hosted by OneEleven and Aviva Canada. Team AVOcado Toast was comprised of an incredibly talented and driven team with one goal in mind, make Toronto safer for pedestrians through an innovative B2B software solution. Self-Driving AVO Civic

We did it! We successfully built a Level 2/3 self-driving car in less than 11 days! With a combination of hardware and software AVO was able to leverage new and existing technologies to enable this Civic to drive itself.

AVO bought a Civic in a whirlwind deal! Driving off the lot with this car knowing what it was about to become was extremely exciting! We were now up against the clock as we had set out our goal of making this car self-driving before the fist snowfall of 2017.
